lachlan bell

Lachlan Bell commenced his training at Beverly Rowles School of Dance before studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2008. Whilst at WAAPA he performed both classical and contemporary works choreographed by Chrissie Parrott, Terence Kohler, Michael Whaites, Andries Weidemann and emerging choreographer Josh Mu from Buzz Dance Theatre whose work Common Space(s) was workshopped through performances in public spaces in Perth city. Lachlan has toured to Malaysia to perform at the Tari festival in 2005, and to Melbourne in 2006 to perform for the A.I.C.D choreographic festival, Dance Creations.

In 2008, Lachlan performed Alice Lee Holland's Preparing to be Beautiful with Strut Dance Company. He also performed Door Number One created by Tim O'Donnell and Sum of One created by Kim McCarthy at the A.I.C.D Dance Creations 2008. His graduating season saw him perform Not Entirely Human by Sue Healey and Nacho Duato's Jardi Tancat.
