Daniel Jaber’s career as a dancer began with Garry Stewart’s ADT (Australian Dance Theatre) at the age of 17 in 2003. He worked as a full-time company member for 5 years before becoming an independent performer and teacher working throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the UK.
Jaber created his first work in 2010 for the Adelaide Fringe, a solo piece titled Too far again, not far enough... which was awarded the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Awards for Best Dance and The Adelaide Festival Centre inSPACE:development Award.
Daniel was commissioned by Garry Stewart in 2012 to create Nought. Nought premiered as a sell out season in september 2013. He then made Rodent Boy for the Variety on King William - Adelaide Fashion Festival opening. And was invited by the Friends of the Australian Ballet SA to create Signature, a short duet for their 2013 Christmas Party.
Daniel was appointed Resident Choreographer in 2014 and will take over as Artistic Director in 2015.
